This is my daughter, Rachel, with the tiara the Make-A-Wish folks bought her for the fireworks celebration. The arm floating off to the right belongs to her nurse, Phyllis, who put in the Wish for us. She bought Rach the shirt, which only had the "I [heart] USA" on it. Her niece glitter painted it and added the decorations.
Phyllis and Rachel are crazy about each other, as you can see here. If something happens to me, Phyllis will become her official guardian.

This is Rachel, watching the fireworks. Not a great shot, but the pitch blackness meant trying to focus and waiting for another explosion to light the sky. The only light here is from a burst over our heads.

Of course, Rachel wasn't the ONLY one excited. :) Here's a shot of me, wearing a pair of patriotic "ears" that Phyllis's sister bought for Rach. Yes, those are pinwheels. Yes...they do spin in the wind, a fact brought to my rapid attention once we got to the top of the VERY windy deck on the stadium.
